 Review

I was so looking forward to receiving this box as I haven't had one for my doggy Charlie yet.
He could smell the biscuits as soon as they came through the letterbox and I love the added touch of having Charlie's picture on the box.
In the box was a small pack of dog biscuits with a card describing the flavour of the biscuits and the ingredients.
The biscuits are made by a doggy expert chef and all the ingredients are natural and are perfect for our pooches.
Our bag was Sunday Roast and it actually did smell like a Roast dinner. I just about got a picture before Charlie wanted to eat them.
He seemed to really enjoy them and kept coming back to me for more.
At first I thought the box was a bit pricey but then I started to compare the price with some of the biscuits in the supermarket and in reality for what you get the price is really reasonable and you have the knowledge that what goes in them is 100% safe and natural for dogs which is all that matters really.

I've been sent further boxes by Top Collar and they never disappoint, Charlie has loved every flavour he's been sent.

We've been sent Cheese and Biscuits, Chicken Tagine and Liver and Bacon Meatloaf. I wasn't in when the postie delivered them through the door and I was really surprised they were still in one piece when I came home..
Charlie really loved the Chicken Tagine flavour even more so than the Sunday Roast flavour and with 100% natural ingredients what more could you wish for for mans best friend.

Me and Charlie's Top Collar Rating is

 4 and 1/2 stars

Daring Box

Daring Box Review

Description

Daring Box is an erotic couple box that comes directly from France aimed at spicing things up in the bedroom.
The gift box is themed and consists of 5-7 items for him and for her but mainly items you can enjoy together, they also put in tips and suggestions as well as games you can play together.
The products you receive will have a total value of more than twice the actual cost of the erotic gift box.
Boxes are delivered every 2 months and are sent in discrete packaging, so no weird looks from your postman.
Boxes cost £39 with post and packing included but there is an option to buy 6 or 12 months at a time which then brings down the price of each box, you can also cancel at any time.

Review

When our box arrived I didn't have a clue what it was until I opened it so they definitely kept their promise about the discreet packaging, On opening the lid of the box I was presented with a drawstring bag that had all the products neatly packed inside.
Looking through the cards on the top I could see that there was a card for every item describing what it was and what it could be used for, there was also a card with a list of music tracks that would work well in the background, and 2 cards that had suggestions for different 'scenarios' that we could act out and the last card was to tell me the theme of the box was - Valentine's Red Room, I couldn't help but laugh as I'd not long been to see the Fifty Shades of Grey movie.

In my box was;
A Massage Candle
An Erotic Challenges Book
Silky Sensual Handcuffs
A Body Ribbon   and
Double Ended Lolly (Strawberry and Sparkling Wine Flavour)

I'm not going into any sordid detail on how I used these but will give a brief description on how well or not they worked.
The massage candle was something I'd never seen before but it worked really well, once poured it was really nice to use as a massage oil.
The erotic challenges book is self explanatory, it had different sexual favours in it to sign and give to your other half.
The silky handcuffs were really soft, didn't chafe and didn't leave any marks on your skin afterwards.
The body ribbon was really hard to wear and if you have bigger breasts this would not fit, I didn't like this item.
I didn't use the double ended lolly as I thought it was pretty pointless.

Overall I do think the box is value for money and would suit any couples into this stuff or couples wanting to give it a try, I really enjoyed trying this out and I'm sure my husband would say the same

Review

I can't see this being a long review as it was just the one POP! I received.
You have to be home to accept the delivery as unfortunately it doesn't fit through your letterbox.
I was quite excited about opening my box as I was wondering which POP! I had been sent.
On opening my box the first thing I saw was a packet of tango popping candy, wow I absolutely love popping candy, secondly I pulled out my POP! with my eyes closed (a bit sad I know but I wanted to drag out the suspense) turned it over and I had received WALL-E from the Disney film of the same name.
This has sparked quite an addiction from me and I now have quite a few more POPS!

This subscription is not for everyone but would definitely suit the Geeks and Gamers amongst others. The figures are reasonably priced as most figures I've seen on sale for around £9.99

Review

In my box I received the hard-backed novel Hotel Alpha by Mark Watson which was nicely wrapped in tissue paper and a box of Teapigs tea with chocolate flakes.

I was a little unsure about reading the book at first, because on reading the back it didn't really seem my kind of read but I decided to give it a go and I'm really glad I did, it dragged me in really quickly and It didn't take me long to read it all.
In my opinion a really good read and something I wouldn't of thought of reading in a million years.

Now the tea, well I am quite strict with my tea and wouldn't of thought I'd like tea with chocolate but I was pleasantly surprised. A big hit with both.

Book and a Brew is a really good idea for keen readers who are looking for well reviewed but hidden gem novels, the tea is also a perfect accompaniment.
I think the price is quite average for a hard-backed novel and box of premium branded tea.

Weekend Mini Box Club Review January 2016

DESCRIPTION

I have recently done a review on the bumper box at The Weekend Box but now they have brought out there new Mini Box which consists of just 2 activities which is ideal if you don't have much time on your hands but still want to do a few activities.
The Weekend Box Club is the brainchild behind Andy Stephenson when he was looking for gift ideas for his nieces and nephews: he wanted to find something that was educational (but fun), engaging and something that helped develop key life skills so he came up with the weekend box in his bedroom.
Weekend Box activities are created by child-play experts to stimulate, nurture and encourage development of key life skills.
The Mini Box is available for £4.95 with free delivery.

REVIEW

Our box theme was Rainforests and had 2 envelopes.
Green and Blue which if you have seen my other review is Something Green (to plant or up-cycle) and Something to make (arts and crafts).

Green Envelope - Grow a Rainforest

We received most of what we needed in the packet including these really cool compact dry compost pellets.
Instructions were very clear to follow, Oliver loved putting the pellets in the water and watching them expand he thought it was magic lol.
We followed what we needed to do and Oliver added the seeds, it is now on our windowsill while we wait for it to grow
and Oliver is checking it everyday.
Definitely a thumbs up for this activity.

Blue Envelope - Parrot Mask
We got everything we needed to make the parrot mask. Oliver did all the colouring, cutting and sticking, it was really easy to follow and he really enjoyed making it, especially cutting the paper to make it look like feathers, he was very pleased with what he had made as you can tell by the picture.

Oliver loves the cut out certificate on the bottom of the box too.

I think the Mini Box is a big hit especially for parents with very little time who want to do something exciting with there children.

REVIEW

Oliver was very excited when he received his box, he opened it straight away and was very pleased he had 4 activities to complete.
Each activity was in a different coloured envelope and featured a different character.

The theme of our box was Flags
Green Envelope - Hattie - Garden Wish Flags
Yellow Envelope - Oswald - Flag Semaphore
Blue Envelope - Sammy - Oldest Flag Puzzle
Red Envelope - Wooster - Flag Biscuits

Yellow - Flag Semaphore
We had everything included to make two flags and instructions on how to do the alphabet in semaphore.
Oliver enjoyed colouring in the flags but needed help putting the flags on the sticks, Oliver really enjoyed learning to spell his name with the flags.
This was his favourite activity as he got to learn something he had never heard of before.

Red - Flag Biscuits
Again everything was included in the packet to do this activity including the biscuits but unfortunately one was broken.
It was easy enough making the icing and Oliver loved spreading it over the biscuits. He did find it a bit tricky cutting up the dried strawberries to put on the England flag as they were quite soft and hard to cut.
Oliver loved this activity especially the eating part.

Blue - Oldest Flag Puzzle
A straight forward activity, instructions were really easy to follow.
Oliver did all the colouring and cutting and put everything together but this was his least favourite activity.

Green Envelope - Garden Wish Flags
Elliott wanted to do this activity, he decorated the bunting with insects and flowers and using the pegs provided we hung this on the washing line.
This was a fun activity but it didn't last quite so long.

Overall I think The Weekend Box Club is really good value for money and can keep the kids occupied all weekend long.

Review

The morning my Graze box arrived I couldn't wait to open it to see what I had received.
On opening the box I found a little booklet, in it was the list of snacks in the box, the ingredients, nutritional values and calories per snack.
Each snack comes in a see-through pot with the name of what the snack is on the peel-able lid.

Graze had sent me:

Sticky Toffee Pudding
Boston Baguettes with a BBQ Relish
Jaffa Cake Flapjack
Brilliant Black Forest

Now for the tasting...

Sticky Toffee Pudding - Spiced Rye Cake with Toffee Sauce

This little pot came with toffee sauce and could be eaten hot or cold, so if you wanted the dessert hot you can put it in the microwave for 10 seconds.
I decided to eat the pudding cold, when I peeled back the lid and got an instant smell of fruitiness, which was very appealing.
On tasting the cake it was very soft and spongy but tasted more like carrot cake than sticky toffee pudding. The toffee sauce was delicious too and a perfect amount to go with the cake.

Boston Baguettes with a BBQ Relish -Tomato Breadsticks with BBQ Relish

The pot was filled with a generous amount of what looked like tiny baguettes with tomato powder on them.
These tasted really nice but I wasn't overly keen on the relish as it was a little too sweet for me.

Jaffa Cake Flapjack - Rustic Rolled Oats, Chocolate and Orange Flapjack

The Flapjack came in three bite-size pieces which is ideal if you didn't want to eat it all at once.
Each piece had a drizzle of chocolate on top and tasted just like a flapjack version of a jaffa cake with its zingy orange flavour.

Brilliant Black Forest - Black Forest Brownie with Cherry Compote

I couldn't wait to try this dessert, as I can never resist a chocolate brownie.
This could also be eaten hot or cold so I decided to have this one hot, I peeled off the film lid and put in the microwave for 10 seconds.
The smell from the compote was amazing and I couldn't wait to tuck in, I located the wooden spoon from underneath the pots in the box and dived in.
WOW this has got to be my most favourite by far.
The brownie was just enough chocolatey and the cherry compote just finished it off perfectly to give it that black forest taste.
The only thing I would have to say is not to eat it with the spoon provided as after each mouthful I could taste the wood from the spoon but the dessert itself was perfect.

I was overall very happy with this Graze box and for £3.89 it makes a lovely little treat each week with the added surprise of not knowing what your going to receive and it doesn't break the bank either.
It is ideal for people on the go who miss meals due to lack of time or for people looking for healthy snacks while dieting/healthy eating instead of reaching for the biscuit tin.
